Beach home renovation in Sydney’s iconic Manly Beach

The Project

This hidden gem placed in the iconic Manly Beach of Sydney was in need of love since its construction in the 1950s. Internally and externally the finishes were out of date and tired, but the bones and potential were there from day one.

The owners loved the flow of the layout and the lifestyle of the area for their family but their home needed attention.

The brief for this project included a new kitchen, living areas, bathroom, outdoor covered area, new façade and roof. Basically, a complete renovation utilizing the existing spaces to freshen up this northern beaches gem.

The result was a perfect combination of charm and modern living including an open plan design from front to back and a covered alfresco area with bifold doors blending the line between inside and outside with endless entertainment possibilities.
